You will need only a basic knowlege of PSP to complete this tutorial

Supplies Needed
Paint Shop Pro - You can get a trial version HERE
A Suitable Tube - You can download the one I used HERE
Cassatta Zig Font - You can download it HERE
No Outside Filters are used in this Tutorial

Unzip your tube and open on your Workspace
Duplicate (Shift + D) and close the original
Rename this layer Puffball 1
Create a new layer on your layer pallette and drag this below the Puffball Layer
Floodfill with white and rename this layer Background
Image > Canvas size > Resize canvas to W600 X H400 - You can resize later
Activate the Puffball layer and move over to the left hand side to allow room for your text
Set your foreground and background to a dark colour from the tube
I used #4C1784
Set your text tool to Cassatta Zig > Size 72 > Vector Checked
And type your name or whatever text you want
Using the nodes make your text taller
On your layer palette open up your vector layer, Right Click on your name
Convert text to curves as character shapes
This will then put all your letters onto their own layer.
Click on the Initial letter to your name - You should now have
a vector box around just the first letter
Move this letter down so that it is in line with the puffball's feet
Then click on each letter individually and move them up and down randomly in a line
It should look something like this
Once you are happy with the placement of your letters
Right click and convert to raster layer
Add an inner bevel to your name using these settings
Now add a drop shadow using these settings
Activate your Puffball layer and move to wherever on your name you want it placed
Duplicate this layer and name Puffball 2
Make sure Puffball 2 is activated and Image > Mirror
Move this layer over on top of Puffball 1 ... making sure the feet and legs are lined up
(It's probably easier to zoom in on the image to do this)
Crop to size taking care not to cut into any of your drop shadow
Hide Puffball 2 and activate Puffball 1
Add a drop shadow using the same settings as above
Merge visible and save as Image 1
Undo Merge
Hide Puffball 1 and activate Puffball 2
Add a drop shadow using the same settings as above
Merge visible and save as Image 2

Open Animation Shop
Open your animations wizard and follow the instructions
Changing the frame speed to 45
Go through the optimisation Wizard keeping the default settings
And
Voila
You have your own Purple Puff Signature Tag
